About the Role
CareerMakers Recruitment are currently looking forHGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Driverson behalf of our client based inPreston. Due to continued business growth and high demand, we have bothongoingandad-hoc night shiftsavailable offering you flexibility and stability in line with your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry outnationwide night trunking deliveries and collections
* Secure all loads correctly and safely
* Complete pre- and post-use vehicle checks, reporting any defects promptly
* Maintain communication with the transport office throughout the shift
* Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and returned as required
* Maintain a high standard of safety, compliance, and professionalism
Requirements:
* A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
* CPC qualificationandDigital Tachograph card
* No more than6 points on your licence no DR, IN, or TT endorsements
* Strong knowledge ofdriving hours - TACHO rules
* Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
