You’ll provide fair, impartial guidance to managers across the business while working within a supportive, collaborative team that isn’t afraid to challenge each other (and regularly debates the next snack choice!).

No two days are the same in this fast-paced role. You’ll manage a variety of cases, support managers through processes, and help improve how we work to ensure consistent, ethical decision-making. If you’re ready to get stuck in and make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.

* Hours: 37.5 hours per week
* Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
* Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, 9:00am - 5:00pm, or 12:00pm - 8:00pm


Here’s What You Can Expect To Be Doing

* Manage and respond to queries in our Manager Advice ticket system and our Manager Advice Line.
* Be a first point of contact to guide stakeholders through the correct procedures, following company best practices.
* Complete admin tasks such as issuing meeting invite letters and note-taking.
* Providing support with drafting outcome letters from cases such as disciplinaries, grievances and appeals
* Provide guidance to line managers that is not only prompt but legally compliant.
* Manage your caseload and ER matters within remit from inception to completion.
* Prepare and coach managers on cases such as disciplinary, grievance, poor performance, probation, conducting investigations, preparing documentation, and running a variety of formal meetings.
* Escalate complex/serious issues to the Senior HR Advisor and HR manager when required.
* Proactively manage the co-ordination and administration of caseload—including any related correspondence.
* Work with other members of the team to ensure cross‑collaboration and peer review of advice when needed.
* Support, review and maintain our HR documentation, including manager guides, letter templates and policies where required


A Few Things About You

* Solid understanding of UK employment law
* Well organised and comfortable managing a busy workload and deadlines
* Strong communication skills, be able to influence at all levels of the business
* Ability to deliver pragmatic solutions, with a methodical approach to problem solving
* Use your own initiative to enhance working practices
* Collaborative team player who supports others
* Self‑motivated, proactive and adaptable
* CIPD Level 3 or above
