Overview
We are seeking a Lady Pastor who will provide spiritual leadership, pastoral care, teaching, and mentoring within the church community, with a focus on empowering women, families, and young people. She will assist in the delivery of worship services, counselling, outreach programmes, and contribute to the overall vision of the HOUSE OF BREAKTHROUGH
Duties
* Key Responsibilities
Spiritual Leadership
* Lead prayer meetings, Bible studies, and worship services as assigned.
* Preach and teach the Word of God with sound doctrine.
* Provide counselling, discipleship, and pastoral support to members.
Women's Ministry
* Oversee and develop programmes for women's spiritual growth.
* Mentor and empower women in leadership and ministry roles.
* Organise women's conferences, retreats, and outreach initiatives.
Pastoral Care & Support
* Conduct home visits, hospital visits, and provide support to those in need.
* Offer guidance and counselling for individuals and families.
* Support youth and children's ministry alongside other pastoral staff.
Outreach & Community Engagement
* Lead evangelism initiatives targeting women, families, and local communities.
* Collaborate with external partners, charities, and organisations where needed.
* Represent the church in community and inter-denominational activities.
Administration & Governance
* Assist in planning church programmes and activities.
* Maintain records of pastoral activities, follow-ups, and ministry progress.
* Uphold church policies, safeguarding, and governance standards.
Skills
* Skills & Qualifications
* A committed Christian with evidence of a strong prayer and word-based life.
* Ordained / recognised as a minister or pastor (or in training, depending on church structure).
* Strong knowledge of the Bible, theology, and pastoral care.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
* Ability to mentor women and young people.
* Organisational and leadership skills.
