We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a specialist all‑through provision (primary to secondary) supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and behavioural needs.
This role involves supporting pupils in the classroom and around the school, helping them manage behaviour, regulate emotions, and engage positively with learning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support pupils with SEN across primary and secondary age groups
2. Manage behaviour and support emotional regulation
3. Assist learning in class and during transitions
4. Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff
5. Provide personal care where required (training provided)
Requirements
6. Experience working with children or young people with SEN / SEMH
7. Confident with behaviour management strategies
8. Calm, patient, and resilient approach
9. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
10. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
