Requirements
* Experience working as a Science Technician in a school setting.
* Excellent knowledge of health and safety procedures in a school science lab.
* Eligibility work in the UK
* Enhanced child DBS on the update service (Willingness to apply for a new one)

* Strong practical skills and the ability to confidently set up experiments.

Key Responsibilities
* Preparing apparatus, materials, and solutions for science lessons and demonstrations.
* Ensuring all equipment is clean, in good working order, and readily available for use.
* Checking and testing the functionality of equipment, such as microscopes and power supplies.
* Conducting routine safety checks on equipment and facilities.
* Conducting and documenting risk assessments for all practical activities.
* Ensuring all students and staff are aware of safety protocols during practical sessions.
* Assisting with the setting up of apparatus for exams and assessments.
* Helping to supervise students during practical work.
* Providing support for science-related projects and extra-curricular clubs.
* Liaising with teaching staff to understand their technical needs for upcoming lessons.
