We are passionate about delivering outstanding results for our clients and are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Progressor to join our dynamic team in Alnwick.
The Role
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and highly personable Sales Progressor to oversee and manage property transactions from sale agreed through to completion. This is a key full-time office-based role focused on ensuring sales progress efficiently, maintaining excellent communication between all parties, and helping deliver a smooth client experience.
The role will also involve handling new enquiries, supporting office administration, ensuring compliance procedures are maintained, and carrying out occasional property viewings when required.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within estate agency sales progression, conveyancing, or a legal/property-related role, with a strong understanding of the sales process and the ability to proactively manage transactions.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the sales progression process from sale agreed through to completion
* Liaise regularly with buyers, sellers, solicitors, mortgage brokers, surveyors, and other professionals
* Proactively chase all parties to ensure transactions progress quickly and efficiently
* Identify and resolve issues or delays that may impact completion timescales
* Take and respond to new sales enquiries via phone, email, and in person
* Qualify applicants and ensure enquiries are handled professionally and promptly
* Conduct occasional property viewings as required
* Ensure all compliance and AML documentation is obtained, checked, and kept up to date
* Provide regular updates and excellent customer service to clients throughout the transaction
* Maintain accurate records, notes, and updates within internal systems and CRM databases
* Support the wider sales team with administrative and office duties where required
* Build strong working relationships with solicitors and other industry professionals
* Assist in delivering a seamless customer journey from instruction to completion
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in estate agency, sales progression, conveyancing, or a legal/property role is essential
* Strong understanding of the residential sales and conveyancing process
* Knowledge of property compliance procedures and AML requirements
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
* Confident IT user with experience in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
* Proactive problem solver with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Professional, friendly, and client-focused approach
