Customer Service Assistant - Sainsbury's
Join our team as a Customer Service Assistant and be part of a dynamic retail environment. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Picking and selecting high-quality products for online orders, ensuring timely delivery or providing suitable substitutions when items are out of stock.
2. Using digital handsets to plan your route around the store, managing order selections efficiently.
3. Handling customer queries, processing orders, and assisting with loading vans for home delivery.
4. Providing excellent customer service, offering help proactively, and supporting customers with their questions.
5. Building knowledge about our products, services, and promotions to make helpful recommendations.
6. Working flexibly across various store roles as needed.
We welcome applicants comfortable with early morning shifts (starting at 4am), working in a fast-paced, physical environment, and able to work independently or as part of a team. The role requires a friendly demeanor, enthusiasm for customer service, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high standards. Training will be provided to develop a variety of skills, including digital tools and technology use, and handling shopping containers up to 15KG.

Applicants must be above the school-leaver age, with those working shifts before 6am or after 11pm being at least 18 years old, and have the Right to Work in the UK.
