Who you'll work with…
We are seeking a Senior Trading Analytics Manager to play a pivotal leadership role within our Quants & Analytics team at Flutter UK & Ireland. As part of the Flutter UKI Trading function, Quants & Analytics is at the forefront of driving innovative analytics and performance-led insights across the Sportsbook, shaping smarter decisions and better outcomes.
Reporting into the Head of UKI Trading Analytics, the Senior Trading Analytics Manager role sits at the heart of the business, owning key stakeholder relationships, influencing strategic priorities, and ensuring analytics delivers real commercial impact. You will act as a trusted partner to senior leaders, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive performance.
Leading a team of Analysts, you’ll foster a high-performing, curious, and collaborative culture, coaching and developing talent while setting a high bar for analytical excellence. You’ll be responsible for delivering impactful, high-quality insights, while also helping to shape the future direction of the Quants & Analytics department. This includes driving innovation in analytics, exploring new technologies, advancing quantitative methods, and continuously advancing our use of data to shape UKI Trading strategy and unlock maximum business value.
What you'll do…
1. Lead, inspire, and develop a team of analysts to deliver high-impact insights, tools, and analytics that drive smarter pricing decisions, optimise strategy, and effectively manage risk.
2. Own the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, high-profile projects. Setting direction, defining timelines, and ensuring outputs are delivered to the highest standard, with clear and compelling communication to senior leadership.
3. Proactively identify and surface Trading insights, issues and trends relating to KPI performance and work with stakeholders to drive innovation and enhance performance.
4. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to effectively identify opportunities for growth and support their strategic objectives, whilst building trust through rigorous, high-quality analysis and clear, aligned messaging.
5. Refine and improve ways of working with UKI Trading Teams to effectively prioritise and ensure the Trading Analytics team delivers maximum impact where it matters most.
6. Play a key role in building a world-class team by leading hiring, developing talent, and fostering an environment where people can grow and thrive.
7. Build and strengthen relationships across the UKI Trading Tribe and wider business, while collaborating with analytics and modelling teams across the Flutter group to share knowledge, elevate capabilities, and unlock new opportunities.
8. Champion a culture of ambition, innovation, and continuous improvement, leading by example and empowering the team to embrace change and push boundaries.
9. Drive the strategy and adoption of AI and advanced analytics to accelerate delivery, improve efficiency, and automate manual, time-intensive processes – enabling greater focus on the highest-impact opportunities, while positioning Trading Analytics at the forefront of innovation within Flutter and the wider industry.
What we're looking for…
10. A proven analytics leader with 5+ years’ experience delivering complex, high-impact projects end-to-end, and a track record of turning data into meaningful business outcomes.
11. Strong leadership capability, with experience (or clear readiness) to manage and develop others and build high-performing teams that are engaged, motivated, and continuously improving.
12. A positive, influential leader who brings energy and empathy - someone who can inspire those around them, create a strong team culture, and lead from the front.
13. Highly self-driven and action-oriented, with the confidence to take ownership and drive meaningful change in a fast-paced environment.
14. Excellent collaborator and relationship builder, able to influence and align stakeholders across UKI Trading and the wider business to deliver shared goals.
15. Outstanding communication and storytelling skills - able to distil complex analysis into clear, impactful narratives tailored to a range of audiences, including senior leadership.
16. Strong commercial, industry, and business knowledge - ideally within sports betting, gaming, or a related sector.
17. Deep technical expertise in statistical analysis and data modelling, with the ability to translate sophisticated methods into practical, actionable insights.
18. A forward-thinking, innovative mindset, constantly seeking new ways to improve processes, tools, and analytical approaches.
