Position Overview
Cushman & Wakefield is seeking to hire a Partner for their EDSF team, focussed on Debt origination. This role will be based in London, reporting to David Gingell, Co-Head of European Real Estate Debt Advisory.
The team consists of 12+ dedicated debt advisors, with a local presence in key European cities including Helsinki, London, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Frankfurt, and Madrid. Maintaining over 250 lending relationships, the team helps clients across various sectors achieve their financial objectives, whether through investment, development, or refinancing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
The leading candidate will play a crucial role in expanding the firm's debt advisory services across Europe, focusing on UK and European markets. This opportunity is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership skills, and proven client management experience:
* Originate and execute real estate debt advisory mandates in UK and Europe, including Office, Living, Retail, Industrial, Hotel, and non-traditional asset classes.
* Bring, develop and amplify existing relationships with the most active best-in-class real estate firms in Europe: private equity groups, global investment managers, property companies, and family offices to structure bespoke financing solutions.
* Develop and deepen relationships with UK and European lenders, including banks and alternative capital providers.
* Manage, in conjunction with the wider team, the entire transaction lifecycle, from deal inception to financial close, ensuring optimal outcomes for clients.
* Be a team player: both i) within the ED&SF team which is geographically spread; and ii) within the wider Cushman network, building meaningful and reciprocal relationships that deliver client mandates for Cushman as a whole.
* Expand Cushman's debt advisory platform and grow its presence in European markets through entrepreneurial leadership and business development.
