DCS Engineering is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing construction supplier known for delivering high-quality hard landscaping and architectural materials to clients across the UK and overseas. About the Role
Working closely with the sales and procurement teams, you'll be responsible for supporting the estimation of materials for hard landscaping and construction projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Reading and estimating from architectural drawings and Bills of Quantity documents
Liaising with UK and international suppliers (China, Vietnam, Portugal, Spain)
Supporting pricing, quotations, and commercial negotiations
Assisting in day-to-day admin and data entry
Helping secure new project wins through accurate, timely estimating
What We're Looking For
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Confident with IT systems, particularly Excel; CAD experience is a bonus
Commercially aware with good communication and negotiation skills
A willingness to learn and grow in a team-based environment
Ideally, some knowledge of construction materials or architectural drawings (but full training provided)
What's on Offer
£25,000 - £30,000 salary depending on experience
Full-time, permanent role with immediate start available
Monday-Friday working hours (early finish Friday)
