Service Desk Coordinator - South East | Dynamic, Customer-Focused Role

Rural Maidstone

Are you a natural communicator who thrives on providing exceptional customer service and keeping operations running smoothly? We're searching for a proactive Service Desk Coordinator to become the vital link between customers and a team of 8 skilled mobile engineers across the South East.

In this fast-paced and varied role, you'll be the first point of contact for incoming service enquiries-ensuring queries are handled efficiently and professionally, engineers are scheduled effectively, and customers receive first-class support. If you're highly organised, detail-focused, and passionate about delivering solutions that minimise downtime, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the first line of support for customer queries, providing clear, helpful advice and arranging engineer call-outs as needed.

Schedule and coordinate the workloads of 8 mobile service engineers, balancing priorities to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Manage service orders and scheduling within SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.

Liaise closely with customers, engineers, and internal departments to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.

Maintain accurate service records and support parts ordering when required.

What You'll Bring:

Excellent communication and customer service skills - you'll be a true ambassador for great service.

Strong experience in scheduling, planning, or service coordination.

Great attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.

Ability to stay calm under pressure, juggle priorities, and keep things moving smoothly.

Confident IT skills (SAP experience is a bonus but not essential).
