Our Neighbourhood Officers are at the heart of what we do as an organisation. We have a great opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer to join our Localities team providing a comprehensive housing management service, working with communities and neighbourhoods around Lincolnshire. This will include areas such as Lincoln, Scunthorpe, Gainsborough and Market Rasen.
You will be someone who takes a hands‑on approach, helping customers to manage their tenancies and improve our neighbourhoods for everyone. Most of the time you will be out and about in your patch, working closely with customers to promote sustainable tenancies and developing strong relationships with local communities.
Responsibilities
* Visit customers, provide advice, review tenancies and identify any problems.
* Regularly inspect our estates, raise, report and monitor health and safety or safeguarding concerns to a successful conclusion.
* Develop strong relationships within local communities, working collaboratively with other agencies and Platform colleagues.
* Manage and investigate tenancy issues such as anti‑social behaviour, condition of property, fly tipping or safeguarding concerns.
* Undertake new tenancy sign‑ups and accompanied viewings for new homes.
* Travel regularly around the patch, using your own vehicle or alternative means; a driving licence is essential.
Qualifications
* Experience working in the social housing sector, particularly with tenancy management, ASB and safeguarding.
* Ability to work closely with customers to tackle complex issues.
* Proactive, organised and able to prioritise your time to meet timeframes.
* Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused approach, understanding the importance of delivering a high standard of service.
* Possession of a suitable driving licence and reliable transport.
* Basic DBS check required.
* Ideally based in Lincolnshire due to travel requirements.
