Position: Level 3 Metrology Technician Apprenticeship Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire Duration: 3 Years Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours Key Responsibilities: Learn and perform precise measurements using a variety of high-tech metrology equipment. Design, test and implement measurement solutions for direct transfer into production sites. Learn technical expertise in industry manufacturing techniques Support the team in ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations. Participate in the development and implementation of metrology procedures. Document measurement and calibration results accurately and communicate to the relevant global project stakeholders. Engage in problem-solving activities related to measurement. Apprenticeship Program Highlights: Earn while you learn with a competitive apprentice wage. Learn the technical background at the home of measurement in the UK with the apprenticeship provider, the National Physical Laboratory (NPL). Achieve a recognized qualification upon successful completion of the apprenticeship and be eligible for professional registration with EngTech post-nominals. What will convince us A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A-C/9-4 (or equivalent) including Mathematics, English, and a Science. Ability and willingness to travel to the NPL in Teddington, London for 6 weeklong blocks per academic year (18 blocks over 3 years) with travel and accommodation paid for by Sartorius. A keen interest in engineering and a commitment to developing skills in this area. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication abilities and a team player mindset. Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
