Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and practical Maintenance Person to help with various maintenance tasks across our stores and sites, including forecourts, laundromats, and more. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys hands-on work and is proactive in keeping our facilities running smoothly.
Responsibilities
* Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities.
* Assist with building work and minor repairs around the sites, including fixing machinery.
* Inspect and identify maintenance needs, taking preventative measures where needed.
* Provide support with electrical tasks and simple troubleshooting.
* Help with basic welding and metal work if needed.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff to ensure the smooth running of operations.
* Keep records of completed work and any repairs made.
Experience
* Practical maintenance experience or a good understanding of basic repair work.
* Basic electrical skills, including troubleshooting.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to fixing issues.
* Basic welding skills are a plus, but not essential.
* Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
