Role Overview
Abbots Care is an award‑winning domiciliary community care provider in Hertfordshire with a CQC rating of Outstanding. Working as a Care Coordinator you will manage the organisation and delivery of care for service users in their own homes, ensuring a person‑centred approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Roster and daily management of community care staff.
* Complete quality calls with care staff and service users.
* Provide reports to senior management as required.
* Support teams as part of a rostered call system.
* Manage referrals from commissioners and local authority.
* Ensure full capacity utilisation.
Qualifications & Skills
* Vibrant, self‑motivated and passionate about making a difference to vulnerable people.
* Strong drive and resilience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable on the phone and writing emails.
* Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with flexibility.
* Strong attention to detail and a completer/finisher.
* A team player with strong interpersonal skills.
* Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Desirable Experience
* Experience within the care sector.
