Come and join our team
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated class teacher of SLD/PMLD with recent secondary school experience to contribute fully in Canolfan Amanwy.
Successful applicants will:
* Be responsible for teaching and leading an SLD/PMLD class.
* Demonstrate specialist skills in teaching pupils with PMLD/SLD.
* Demonstrate sound subject knowledge of the curriculum for Wales and a passion to support young people to make progress.
* Demonstrate a good level of understanding of Person Centred Planning approaches to support personalised learning
* Be an innovative and creative teacher, who uses a range of approaches which meet the needs of individual students.
* Be an outstanding PMLD/SLD classroom practitioner with excellent behaviour management skills.
* Have a proven track record of success in engaging young people to achieve.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

DBS level:
