Purpose of the Post Assist the Home Manager in daily care management and maintain clinical responsibility for the home in the Home Managers absence. What You Will Do Support the Home Manager in delivering high-quality care that meets residents comprehensive needs with dignity and respect. Engage in operational management and contribute to the homes care philosophy. Participate in recruitment, induction, and ongoing staff supervision, including annual performance reviews. Manage staff deployment within budgetary constraints and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. Foster strong working relationships with medical practitioners, social workers, and other healthcare professionals. Requirements Registered General Nurse (RGN), Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), or equivalent health/social care qualification. Experience in elderly care, particularly dementia care. Strong organisational and leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT systems. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call duties.
