The Best Connection are looking for a Yard Supervisor to join our leading manufacturing client in Wheatley
Location: Wheatley
Shift times:
* 7.00 am - 17.00 pm
* Monday - Friday
Pay Rate:
* £34-36k yearly
*
Responsibilities of the Yard Supervisor:
* Operational Management - Direct daily yard activities, including the movement of vehicles, materials and equipment
* Enforce health and safety policies and maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
* Lead, train and schedule yard operatives and assistants
* Monitor inventory levels, oversee loading/unloading of lorries, and maintain, service, or report defects on machinery (e.g. Forklifts, JCB's)
Qualifications and experience required:
* Will require someone from a merchant background
* Knowledge of maintaining yard equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition
