🏠About the Role
We’re looking for a confident and organised Repairs Administrator to join a busy property maintenance team based in Billericay.
In this role, you’ll support the smooth running of reactive maintenance and repair works, ensuring jobs are logged, allocated, and completed on time. It’s a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping things running efficiently behind the scenes.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
* Logging and managing reactive repair requests from start to finish.
* Scheduling engineers and coordinating appointments with residents or clients.
* Updating internal systems and job records accurately.
* Liaising with contractors and the wider operations team.
* Providing general administrative support to ensure repairs are completed on schedule.
🧩 What We’re Looking For
* At least 1 year’s experience in a similar role — e.g. repairs, maintenance, construction, or housing admin.
* Experience in a council, housing association, or maintenance contractor environment would be ideal.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Confident using scheduling systems and Microsoft Office.
* A proactive, team-focused approach and great attention to detail.
