Civil Engineer
Leamington Spa
We are working an established civil and structural engineering consultancy who are growing their Leamington Spa office. They are looking for talented Civil Engineers to join a new office with solid growth plans.
They are a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy offering a wide range of unique in-house services to a broad client base. Teams of Civil and Structural Engineers, Architects, Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental Consultants, Development Planners and Land & Building Surveyors working on projects ranging from small domestic alterations, through to contracts over £30 million.
The Role
This role is ideal for a motivated and technically capable Civil Engineer looking to take on greater responsibility within a collaborative and supportive environment. You will play a key role in delivering infrastructure and development projects.
Working closely with clients, architects, planning consultants, and local authorities, you will help drive projects from initial concept and planning stages through to construction and completion.
Key Responsibilities
Civil Engineering Design
Assist in the development and delivery of civil engineering schemes from concept through to detailed design.
Design roads, drainage systems, earthworks, and associated infrastructure.
Produce practical, cost-effective solutions that meet client and project requirements.
Technical Delivery
Undertake detailed design calculations, assessments, and technical reports.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards, legislation, and industry best practice.
Utilise industry-standard software to prepare models, drawings, and technical documentation.
Project Support
Support the technical management of projects and coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Contribute to the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Quality & Compliance
Prepare clear, accurate, and professional engineering documentation, including drawings, reports, and specifications.
Maintain high standards of quality and compliance across all project outputs.
Client Engagement
Attend client meetings and provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle.
Build strong working relationships and help ensure client expectations are consistently exceeded.
About You
You will have the opportunity to work on various industry software including:
AutoCAD (including Vehicle Tracking) – for drafting and detailing
Civil 3D – for 3D ground and road modelling
MicroDrainage – for drainage design
PDS – for road design, drainage design, traffic sign design and road marking design
What We Offer
Salary £35,000 - £50,000
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
