As we continue to grow, we are looking for someone already working within the mortgage intermediary sector who is ready to take the next step in their career and develop into a fully capable Mortgage Advisor.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for someone who has worked as a Mortgage Administrator or Case Manager for at least 2 years and is now looking to progress into an advisory role.
You will work closely alongside the business owner, supporting new client enquiries, learning the advice process, and gradually developing your own advisory capability. Initially, your focus will be assisting with new business and supporting the client journey, while over time you will begin advising existing clients and conducting mortgage reviews.
This is a genuine long-term career opportunity with structured development and hands-on mentoring.
What You’ll Be DoingSupporting New Business
* Assisting with new client enquiries
* Gathering documentation and fact finds
* Preparing cases for recommendation
* Researching mortgage products and criteria
* Supporting the application and underwriting process
* Liaising with lenders, solicitors, and clients
* Helping ensure a smooth client journey from enquiry to completion
Developing Into an Advisor
* Learning the advice and recommendation process
* Sitting in on client meetings and recorded appointments for training
* Conducting mortgage reviews for existing clients
* Advising on product transfers and remortgages over time
* Building confidence in delivering compliant mortgage advice
General Responsibilities
* Maintaining accurate records and compliance standards
* Managing pipelines and progressing cases proactively
* Delivering exceptional customer service throughout the process
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 2 years’ experience working in the mortgage intermediary sector as a:
* Mortgage Administrator
* Mortgage Case Manager
* Mortgage Processor
* Similar support role
* Strong understanding of the mortgage process
* Excellent organisation and communication skills
* A genuine desire to progress into mortgage advice
* Professional and client-focused attitude
Qualifications
* CeMAP qualified preferred
* If not currently qualified, you must be committed to achieving CeMAP
* We are willing to support and fund training for the right candidate
Desirable
* Experience using CRM systems
* Knowledge of protection products
* Experience dealing directly with clients
