Job Description:
To set up and operate equipment in a safe and efficient mannerTo fabricate windows and doors in line with LEAN manufacturing criteriaComplying with all relevant company health, safety and environmental policies and appropriate risk assessmentsTo ensure workstations are in a safe working order and report any issues/defects immediatelyTo keep tools and equipment in safe working orderTo ensure activities undertaken are completed as per agreed timescalesTo safely store materials for them to be easily locatedMaintain a clean working environment and be confident to offer suggestions for improvement
Experience And Qualifications:
Strong work and environmental ethic with a focus on continuous improvementAbility to work as part of a team but also take initiative and work independently when necessaryKeen to learn new skillsFlexible and reliableThe successful candidate will have previous experience working within a factory environment however knowledge of uPVC window and door fabrication (although desirable) is not essential.
