Roles are offered on an ad:hoc basis when needed.

Your Impact
The Cover Supervisor is a crucial role, ensuring continuity of learning when teaching staff are absent.

Manage the Classroom: Supervise classes of students (Years 7:11) during short:term teacher absences, maintaining discipline and a productive learning environment.
*
Deliver Pre:Set Work: Ensure students complete the work that has been assigned by the absent teacher, managing resources and providing general assistance.
*
Enforce Policy: Uphold the schools high standards for student behaviour and safety across the school site.
*
Report Progress: Record and report on student attendance and progress during the covered lesson to the relevant teaching staff.
Essentials for Success
*
Experience is Mandatory: Proven experience working with children or students in a school, youth work, or similar educational/supervisory setting.
*
Professionalism: High level of confidence and the ability to command respect and manage behaviour in a classroom setting.
*
Compliance: Successful candidates must have an Enhanced DBS check (full support provided by Randstad Education).
