Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent
About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join our team at our Telford facility. This is a permanent, full-time role working on a day shift pattern, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out preventive and reactive maintenance on a range of production equipment, including ovens and conveyors
* Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective repairs
* Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
* Participate in engineering projects to upgrade or modify equipment and systems
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety regulations
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
About You
* Time-served or qualified in Mechanical Engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
* Strong mechanical skills with hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
* Good understanding of health and safety practices
* Experience working on ovens, conveyors, and similar production machinery
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
