<div><p>An architectural metalwork & building envelope contractor in Hertfordshire is currently looking for a Designer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.</p><p><b>Start Date:</b> Flexible, ideally allowing for up to one months notice for the successful candidate</p><p><b>Salary:</b>£40,000 - £50,000 per annum</p><p><b>Work Hours:</b> 7:30am - 4:30pm (9 hours per day including 1 hour of breaks)</p><p><b>Working Arrangement:</b> Office-based</p><p><b>Location:</b> Hertfordshire</p><h3>Duties</h3><ul><li>Producing 2D and 3D drawings for Architectural Metalwork, facade and cladding systems</li><li>Preparing general arrangement, typical section, and fabrication drawings</li><li>Working on building envelope packages including curtain walling and rainscreen systems</li><li>Using AutoCAD, Advanced Steel, and Tekla for technical detailing</li><li>Supporting the design team with drawing revisions and technical updates</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Proven experience as a Cladding Designer or Metalwork Draughtsman</li><li>Strong experience producing facade or building envelope drawings</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Advanced Steel, or Tekla</li><li>Good technical understanding of fabrication and construction drawingsAbility to work effectively within an office-based design environment</li></ul><p>If you are interested, please send your CV for consideration.</p></div>
