About the Company Rowles Recruitment is supporting a well-established, privately owned engineering and infrastructure business as they continue to strengthen their SHEQ function. With over 25 years of experience delivering projects across the UK, this is a business that operates with pace, accountability, and a strong focus on standards. About the Role We are working close with the business to identify an SHEQ Manager who can take ownership of safety, health, environment, and quality across multiple operational sites. This role will suit someone who is: Comfortable working across both site and office environments Confident engaging with operational teams Able to bring consistency and structure to existing processes Looking to take real ownership within a growing business Responsibilities Oversee SHEQ activity across multiple sites Maintain and improve compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 Carry out audits, inspections and risk assessments Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions Deliver training, inductions and toolbox talks Manage SHEQ documentation, systems and reporting Support the ongoing development of processes and standards Qualifications Experience within engineering, utilities, infrastructure or construction Knowledge of ISO standards and audit processes Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH / IOSH Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Required Skills Experience across Quality as well as H&S Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and audit processes A practical, hands-on approach to site engagement The ability to organise and improve existing systems Preferred Skills Based within commutable distance of Aldridge / Walsall Regular site travel required Visible presence across the business is essential Pay range and compensation package Competitive Salary DOE Annual car allowance 40-hour working week Monday to Friday (typically 9:00–5:00 or 8:30–4:30 depending on site requirements) Travel across projects as part of the role 25 days annual leave 8 bank holidays Death in service – 4x salary Private healthcare (Bupa) Dental scheme Enhanced pension – 5% employer contribution after month 3 Equal Opportunity Statement Rowles Recruitment is committed to diversity and inclusivity.
