Responsibilities
 * Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
 * Educate students in subjects spanning the national curriculum - ensuring comprehension and retention of crucial knowledge.
 * Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
 * Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as necessary.
 * Employ effective behaviour management techniques to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
 * Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and school administration regarding student performance and classroom activities.
 * Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
Experience
 * A degree in Education or a related field is essential: an understanding of Synthetic Phonics is highly desirable for the Key Stage 1 position.
 * Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred although ECTs are welcome to apply.
 * Candidate must have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues in previous work or placements.
 * Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
 * A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds is essential for success in this role.
