We are seeking a passionate and resilient PE Teacher to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Maidstone, Kent. About the Role

As a Physical Education Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs. You will play a key role in promoting physical wellbeing, teamwork, and positive behaviour through sport and activity.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons for students with SEMH needs
* Adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learning and behavioural needs
* Promote physical health, emotional wellbeing, and social development
* Manage behaviour effectively using a trauma-informed approach
* Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear feedback

About You

We are looking for a dedicated PE Teacher who is committed to supporting students with additional needs.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching PE at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Experience in SEMH, SEN, or alternative provision (desirable)
* Passion for inclusive education and student development
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
