SEN Nanny/Support Worker Location: Poole Days and Hours: 22 - 30 hours per week. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. 12 - 19:30 (Can flex up) Light house work and management from 12, school pick up 15.00. Role Overview To support a warm and busy family, the role is about more than childcare, it is about keeping family life running smoothly during periods of busy and unpredictable work patterns. Children: 14 yrs - Epilepsy, autism, ADHD, Immunosuppression and Celiac Disease 12 yrs - ADHD 7 yrs - No additional needs. Housework and household management tasks. Resetting book bags, uniforms and laundry. Light meal preparation. School pick up and transporting to afterschool clubs. Requirements Level 3 Childcare or Health & Social Care (or equivalent) SEN Experience Medication administration. (Training can given) Must be a driver Must complete mandatory training, hold or obtain an enhanced DBS, and be registered on the update service (Costs covered and support provided by Freedom Care) You will be a great fit if you are: Calm patient and emotionally regulated; Confidence supporting children with complex needs; Organised, proactive and reliable; Flexible and comfortable with changing rota's; Able to build trust slowly and respectfully; Happy to work independently and use your initiative.
