Project Manager Location: Wolverhampton Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 per annum Car Allowance: £5,500 Type: Full-time, Permanent The Role We are recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join a forward-thinking construction business delivering high-quality projects across the region. Reporting to a Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of your allocated project, ensuring performance across health & safety, programme, quality, cost, and environmental compliance. This is a leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent organisation, and a collaborative management style. You will lead project teams in an inclusive, professional environment while maintaining the highest standards throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Overall management and performance of construction projects from pre-start through to completion * Full responsibility for Health & Safety, including production and implementation of the Construction Phase Plan * Develop and manage Environmental Plans, Quality Plans, Site Waste Management Plans, and site logistics plans * Monitor and maintain high standards of safety, welfare, quality, and environmental compliance * Lead safety audits, incident reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives * Develop, manage, and maintain construction programmes and procurement schedules * Chair and coordinate subcontractor, design, and pre-let package meetings * Manage relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and the wider design team * Oversee RFI processes and ensure timely flow of project information * Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, industry standards, and contractual requirements * Maintain accurate project records, including programmes, site diaries, and progress information * Manage project risk, escalating significant issues promptly * Lead client relationships and chair project progress meetings * Support commercial performance, including CVRs, project reviews, and contractual correspondence * Drive projects to completion within agreed cost, time, and quality targets, striving for zero defects * Participate in project close-out, post-completion activities, and lessons learnt reviews What We’re Looking For You will be a confident, hands-on Project Manager with a strong background in delivering construction projects safely and successfully.
