Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEND
* Work within a specialist resource provision supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and ADHD
* Assist pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
* Support the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
* Help maintain a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment
Additional Information
* The role is based within a SEND resource provision
* Experience supporting pupils with ASC and ADHD is highly desirable
* Candidates must be comfortable providing personal care where required
* Familiarity with behaviour de-escalation strategies and positive behaviour support is essential
Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant
* Calm, patient and resilient approach
* Strong understanding of inclusive education and safeguarding
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
