Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager

Role Overview
Seeking a highly skilled Audit & Accounts Specialist to join a growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a varied client base, combining audit and accounts preparation responsibilities. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services while building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage audits from planning through to completion for a range of clients.
* Prepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with UKGAAP and IFRS regulatory standards.
* Oversee preparation of statutory accounts and management accounts for select clients.
* Ensure compliance with audit and accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and firm policies.
* Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and support.
* Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and provide proactive advice.
* Contribute to process improvements and digital initiatives within the audit and accounts function.
Requirements
* ACA or ACCA fully qualified (essential).
* Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and FRS102(A)
* Proven experience in audit and accounts preparation within a practice environment.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills.
* Strong communication and client relationship management abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
