What You'll Do: Organise, support, and deliver high-quality meal preparation and presentation across all sites, ensuring service standards are consistently met Deputise for the Head Chef when required, maintaining smooth kitchen operations in their absence Ensure all food is prepared safely with full consideration of dietary requirements and allergens Lead compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene, and statutory regulations, including completion of relevant risk assessments and checks Manage key kitchen operations including menu planning, rotas, ordering, deliveries, stock control, and inventory management Monitor site performance continuously, ensuring efficient service delivery within budget and in line with contract requirements What You Bring: Food Safety Level 2 (minimum requirement) with allergy awareness training Strong knife skills and solid knowledge of food preparation techniques Proactive, flexible approach to duties and working hours Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills with ability to prioritise effectively Able to work independently with strong communication and customer service skills, including customer relationship management experience IT and systems literate, with experience supporting reporting, quality assurance, and monitoring data; experience in delivering financial targets is desirable Whatwe offer: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.You’ll belong in a company and team that values you for you; you’ll act with purpose and have an impact through your everyday actions; and you’ll be able to thrive in your own way.
