About the Company
Our client is a well-established, family-run business supplying premium tea, coffee and commercial equipment to hospitality and retail customers across the South West. Continued growth within their engineering division has created an opportunity for an experienced Coffee Machine Engineer to join the team.
The Opportunity
A field-based role covering Cornwall and Devon, responsible for installing, servicing and repairing commercial coffee equipment - including espresso machines, bean-to-cup systems and associated machinery.
The role offers genuine long-term progression as the engineering team expands toward a five-engineer structure, with future leadership responsibilities available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Reactive repairs, diagnostics and breakdown support
Planned preventative maintenance
PSSR / boiler safety checks where required
Installation and commissioning of espresso and bean-to-cup machines
Maintaining accurate service reports, workflow updates and van stock
Workshop support at Liskeard (½ day to full day weekly depending on workload)
Providing excellent customer service and basic end-user training
Supporting team continuous improvement initiativesCandidate Requirements
Essential Experience
Mechanical and electrical fault-finding capability
Experience with commercial coffee machines (espresso and/or bean-to-cup)
Previous field service engineering experience
Full UK driving licencePersonal Attributes

£35,000-£40,000 (experience dependent)
Flexibility into early £40s for exceptional hires (typically post-probation)
