The successful candidate must be available to work on a 24/7/365 rota, including evening and night shifts, as well as weekends. Duties and Responsibilities: Provisioning of 2nd line Technical Support to Internal and External Customers Deploying Technical Infrastructure & prerequisites to support both Managed & Hosted services and company software deployments Conducting Hardware & Software patching & Firmware Upgrades Managing VMware patching & Upgrades Overseeing AD / GPO / DNS / Certificate Management Conducting DR / Backup Testing and Azure Management (VMs, NSG Rules, Storage Accounts etc.) Maintaining & Updating Technical Documentation Providing Advanced troubleshooting / Proactive support Working as part of the team as well as being self-motivated and self-sufficient Adhering to company and team policies as well as working practices Requirements: Candidates should possess experience in several of the following areas: A minimum of 2 years in a Technical Role Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Installation / Administration of Windows operating systems Administration of Microsoft applications & services such as AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Group Policy, Certificates Experience in administering & deploying Virtualised Technologies in an Enterprise environment including storage & backup Understanding of networking concepts and terminology Familiarity with Server Hardware Knowledge of Anti-Virus Technologies Understanding of NLB device management and configuration Proficiency in scripting and task automation using appropriate tooling such as PowerShell Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical personnel at all levels, both internally and at Customer locations Ability to organise personal workload to meet agreed timescales and work effectively under pressure Well-developed presentation skills Team player attitude Experience in following technologies will be advantageous: VMWare vSphere Nutanix HCI Microsoft Azure Veeam PowerShell
