Tutor Location: Pocklington, East Riding of Yorkshire Salary: £26 - £32 per hour Start Date: September 2025 GSL Education’s North Yorkshire branch is currently looking to appoint an exceptional and qualified Tutor, starting in September 2025. Tutor Responsibilities: Deliver subject-specific tutoring with a strong depth of knowledge and expertise. Customise each session to align with individual students’ learning styles and academic needs. Identify learning gaps and reinforce core concepts to improve student understanding. Support students with homework, coursework, and other academic tasks. Use practical activities or demonstrations to make complex topics more accessible. Track student progress consistently and provide clear, constructive feedback. Tutor Requirements: Have at least six months of teaching/tutoring experience. Have a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject. Have excellent communication skills. Have patience and the ability to adapt teaching style to meet the needs of individual students are valuable traits. Have an enhanced child workforce DBS certificate on the Update Service or are willing to process one through GSL Education. at your earliest convenience.
