Motor Vehicle Technician – Leicester (Day Shifts Only)
Weekly Hours
42.5 hours per week, with overtime paid at time and a half when required.
Job Summary
Step into our Leicester workshop and work alongside experienced staff. You will perform maintenance and repair work on our fleet of light commercial vehicles and a small number of cars, providing high quality technical services and ensuring vehicles are safe and legally compliant.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair light commercial vehicles (90–95%) and cars (5–10%) to ensure safety and compliance.
* Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hybrid/EV issues.
* Adhere to company standards, safety procedures and customer service expectations.
* Use workshop tools and equipment effectively and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a vehicle technician.
* Strong attitude, team spirit and can‑do approach.
* Good technical knowledge and willingness to learn.
* Physical ability to lift heavy parts and handle tools.
Training & Development
* Internal IMI accredited training department covering hybrid & EV repair, tail lift, braking systems, electrics and more.
* Personalised training programme based on Level 2 assessment and needs analysis.
