Software Tester | £35,000 | Full-Time | Norwich City Centre
A leading organisation based in Norwich city centre is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software Tester to join their collaborative IT team. This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to both new developments and ongoing system upgrades, ensuring high standards of quality across all software releases.
You’ll work closely with another Software Tester, a Business Analyst, and the Head of IT Delivery to interpret business requirements, create robust test plans, and execute detailed test cases. You’ll also play a key role in shaping the organisation’s overall testing approach, including tools, standards, and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate requirements into structured test cases
Execute manual and exploratory tests
Collaborate with developers and business teams to ensure high-quality releases
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodology and tools
Essential Skills:
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to break down complex issues logically
Detail-oriented and calm under pressure
Self-motivated and collaborative
Desirable Experience:
Multi-platform testing
Agile development environments
Understanding of financial products
Experience with project tools and automated testing (or willingness to learn)
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
