Are you a detail-driven construction professional with a passion for quality and compliance? We’re working with a Local Authority in London who are seeking an experienced Clerk of Works to support the successful delivery of a range of capital projects. This is an exciting interim opportunity to play a key role in ensuring construction standards are met across multiple sites.
Your new role
* Monitor site work to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and health & safety regulations.
* Conduct regular inspections and produce detailed reports on progress, quality, and workmanship.
* Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
* Identify and report defects, ensuring timely rectification.
* Support project managers in delivering projects on time and within budget.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience as a Clerk of Works or similar role in construction project delivery.
* Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction methods, and health & safety standards.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., ICWCI membership, HNC/HND in Construction or equivalent).
* Ability to travel to multiple sites as required.
