Start Date: 1st September 2026
Salary: £120 - £150 per day until AWR is addressed
The Role
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
* Create a positive, stimulating and safe classroom environment
* Assess, monitor and track pupils’ progress effectively
* Provide appropriate support and challenge for all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and parents
* Maintain high standards of behaviour in line with the school’s policies
* Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A sound knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and early childhood development
* High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A reflective approach and commitment to professional development
* Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply
