Healthcare support worker – Clinical Care - Cromer Outpatients
The Outpatient Department at Cromer Hospital is a busy unit, providing outpatient services to the people of North Norfolk and surrounding area. Allies outpatients department encompasses both Outpatient Clinics, pre-assessment and Local Anaesthetic Minor Procedures for Ophthalmic patients. The department offers Cataract and Oculoplastic Surgery and Intravitreal Injection lists in their theatre and provides Outpatient appointments for Cataracts, Glaucoma, Medical Retinal, AMD & Ocular plastics.
You should be able to work well as part of a team and be able to prioritise your own workload. You will accurately and promptly carry out the instructions of the Registered Nurse who is professionally accountable for the delivery of care. No previous Ophthalmology experience necessary as full training & support will be provided in house. You will be expected to work in all areas of the Department and be taught to use the specialized equipment. You will also prepare patient for IVT lists. Undertake Visual acuity, visual fields and assist Clinicians in the clinics. Working hours Monday – Friday, No bank holidays or weekends. Car parking on site & surrounding area. Responsibilities
