The City of Wolverhampton Council is offering an exciting opportunity for three motivated individuals to join our Private Sector Housing Team as Level 4 Apprentices. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, varied environment and is enthusiastic about supporting housing services that improve lives across the city. You will be part of a dynamic team working on a wide range of housing matters, contributing to the delivery of Wolverhampton’s Private Sector Housing Strategy. Opportunities for progression within the Council or wider public sector About the Role As an apprentice working within the Private Sector Housing Team, you will: Assist in delivering key housing services. Learn how to monitor and support regulatory compliance activities. Develop the skills and behaviours needed to become a competent Compliance Officer This apprenticeship is designed to take you from a standing start to a highly skilled professional, adding real value to the organisation and helping to ensure housing standards are met across the city. We are seeking a flexible and committed individuals who have excellent communication skills, diligence and commitment to completing the apprenticeship training. The successful candidates will work in a busy team with a varied workload. Our working arrangements All council roles are allocated to either a fixed, field or flexible work style. Some roles are agile which enable and empower employees to maximise their performance and productivity, whilst maintaining a healthy work life balance. Roles with a fixed workstyle work in a fixed permanent council location. Roles with a field workstyle are usually allocated where employees are required to be out working in the community with a minimum requirement for 'touch down' space at any council location. Roles with a flexible workstyle have a flexible base location to meet the needs of the business and employees can work from a mixture of home or any council office, partner/client, or external location, as required to meet service requirements.
