We are a team of around 200+ people distributed globally and are engaged in a wide array of projects touching all business units (Institutional Securities, Investment Management, Wealth Management) and functions (e.g. Operations, Finance, Risk, Trading, Treasury, Resilience) across the Firm.
The team vision is a multi-year effort to simplify firm's data architecture and business processes front-to-back with goals of reducing infrastructure and manpower costs, improving the ability to demonstrate control of data, empowering developers by providing consistent means of handling data, facilitate data-driven insights & decision making.
Job Location: Glasgow, UK (Hybrid)
We are looking for a technical program manager and business analyst who can:
PMO & Governance
o Drive consolidated program planning and manage overall timelines.
o Oversee program risks and issues (RAID), including tracking, resolution, and escalation.
o Coordinate across IT and Operations teams in North America, EMEA, and Asia to monitor progress, address issues, and mitigate critical risks.
o Organize and manage project/program streams, ensuring alignment with milestones and dependencies.
o Track and report key metrics
o Establish change-control processes and obtain sign-off for milestone changes.
o Gather updates from functional, front-to-back (F2B), and Utility workstream leads. o Prepare agendas, materials, and minutes for governance and key program meetings.
o Provide oversight of cross-workstream dependencies by analyzing, understanding, documenting, and communicating their impact on timelines. o Work with stakeholders to prioritize work and drive delivery of milestones.
o The role requires the candidate to have an understanding of program and project management fundamentals, process analysis and design best practices, system architecture principles, and data management.
Reporting
o Develop Governance and Steering Committee materials.
o Produce status reports (e.g., monthly PPM reporting, tech governance committees, FRB, OCC, Board).
o Create and maintain dashboard views with program tooling (e.g., JIRA) for program oversight.
Skills required
• 5+ years in program management, project management, and/or business analysis
• Experience creating and communicating program roadmaps
• Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups to prioritize work and understand dependencies
• Experience implementing and running program governance and related deliverables (status reports, raid logs, etc)
• Experience tracking and communicating program and project status
• Excellent oral & written communication skills, people-interaction and stakeholder management skills
• Strong Data Analysis capability.
• Ability to communicate complex analysis in a clear, precise and actionable manner
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and comfortable working with a certain level of ambiguity
• Ability to multi-task with good organizational and time management capabilities
• Excellent in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work
• JIRA skills
• Prior experience of working in global and remote teams
• Financial Services experience is a significant plus
