IT Programme Manager job, Programme Delivery, Project Management, AI Technology, Cloud, Global Clients, Payment Services, Facilities management, Travel – Immediate need – up to 90K
An experienced IT Programme Manager is required to lead and oversee the successful implementation of AI technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, an understanding of AI technologies and/or payment services, and the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives. Flexibility to travel is a must.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programmes ideally with AI Technology
* Manage multiple interdependent projects within the AI technology portfolio
* Coordinate with stakeholders across different departments including facilities management to ensure alignment and successful integration of AI solutions
* Develop and maintain programme roadmaps, timelines, and budgets
* Identify and mitigate risks throughout the programme lifecycle
* Oversee the work of project managers and technical teams
* Report on programme progress to senior management and key stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and ethical guidelines in AI implementation
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
* 7+ years of experience in programme management, with at least 3 years focusing on AI or advanced technology initiatives
* Proven track record of delivering large-scale technology programmes on time and within budget
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Experience with Agile and traditional project management methodologies
* PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent programme management certification
Desired Skills
* Knowledge of AI ethics and governance frameworks
* Knowledge of payment services
* Experience in change management and organizational transformation
* Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
* Understanding of data privacy regulations and their impact on AI implementations

Office is based in the Midlands easily commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Staffordshire and Leicestershire.
