Hays are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Material Flow Simulation Engineer to join our client on an ongoing long-term temporary assignment for an approximate duration of 12 months. Location: Coleshill, Birmingham, B46 1GBAssignment type: Temporary, ongoing basis where you will be engaged via HaysWorking environment: Office-basedHours per week: 38 hours per week across 5 daysPay type: Competitive hourly pay rate Your new role –As a Material Flow Simulation Engineer with a focus on Industrial Engineering your key responsibilities will be: To update/ create material flow simulations for production areas To run experiments of different scenarios in production with the aim of increasing production efficiency To work with all levels within the plant to outline the benefits and limitations of material flow simulations To complete MTM analysis of production processes Collaborate with project teams to increase manufacturing efficiency Development of productivity solutions and support realisation What you’ll need to succeed – Required: Proficient use of Siemens Plant Simulation software Experience in Process Improvements Experience in Project Management Beneficial: MTM experience Automotive industry experience Lean manufacturing experience What you’ll get in return – A competitive hourly rate along with an annual performance related bonus.
