Orion is partnered with a well-established business who's hub is based in Lincoln, which is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer,covering sites across the UK.
Field Service Engineer Duties:
* Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of heavy machinery and equipment such as Packers, shredders, mixers, pumps, loaders, conveyors, and compactors.
* Electrical and mechanical experience
* Perform planned maintenance activities to prevent equipment breakdowns
* Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair tasks
* Collaborate with the operations team to ensure equipment availability and reliability
* Comply with safety procedures and promote a safe working environment
* Travel to all sites
Field Service Engineer Experience:
* Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer in a similar industry
* Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment
* Knowledge of heavy machinery and their maintenance requirements
* Strong technical electrical and mechanical skills
* Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
* Effective problem-solving skills
* Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations
