About the Role: Join our project delivery team as an Installation Technician (Automation, Mechanical & Electrical) and take responsibility for the mechanical installation, assembly, and integration of automated industrial warehouse systems across Europe. This is a fully site-based role suited to a proactive, hands-on individual who enjoys physical installation work, problem-solving, and working within fast-paced environments. You will assemble and install structural components, MHE, sensors, control boxes, cabling frames, brackets, mobile shelving, workstations, and electromechanical sub-assemblies used within robotics, automation, and MHE systems. Requirements Candidates must be based in the UK and possess the right to work in that country. Successful applicants must also be willing to travel and work away for prolonged periods and hold a valid passport. About You: You have at least 1 years’ experience in an installation role, ideally within automation, robotics, warehousing, or industrial equipment. You bring strong mechanical aptitude, can read mechanical and basic electrical drawings, and are confident using power tools and performing precision assembly work. You may hold a qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering discipline, and your mindset towards safety and quality is uncompromising. You thrive in site environments, are willing to travel across Europe for extended project durations, and work well as part of a high-performing project installation team. Key Focus: Mechanical Installation: Fit frames, brackets, guarding, mobile shelving, workstations, and fabricated metal structures with precision and quality. Assembly & Build: Perform electromechanical assembly, including harness installation, sub-assembly alignment, fastener installation, and mechanical adjustments. Testing & Verification: Conduct functional checks, alignment verification, and basic mechanical troubleshooting during installation and bring-up. Quality & Compliance: Follow site safety rules, installation standards, and quality procedures—including correct tool use, PPE, and safe working practices. Problem-Solving: Identify mechanical issues, misalignments, or quality concerns early, communicating effectively with Senior Site Leads and engineering teams.
