Headteacher- Independent Co-Education School
Location: West Midlands
Start Date: Start date ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £85,000 base salary
An established, well-regarded independent day school is seeking to appoint an outstanding Headteacher to lead the school into its next phase of development.
The school provides a broad, balanced and mainstream curriculum, delivering strong academic outcomes alongside a rich programme of extracurricular opportunities and high-quality pastoral care. It is not a specialist provision and supports pupils across the full ability range within a nurturing, ambitious environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and confident leader to take strategic and operational responsibility for all aspects of school life, working closely with governors and senior leaders to sustain high standards and drive continued improvement.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Provide clear, visible and inspirational leadership across the whole school
* Maintain and further develop excellent standards of teaching, learning and behaviour
* Lead and support staff through a positive, professional and collaborative culture
* Oversee strategic planning, school development and day-to-day operations
* Act as a ambassador for the school within the wider community
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a Headteacher who:
* Has significant senior leadership experience within the independent school sector
* Brings a strong understanding of mainstream independent education
* Is an assured, credible leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Combines strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on leadership approach
* Is committed to pupil wellbeing, staff development and educational excellence
