Duties of a HGV Technician:
8. Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a range of HGV vehicles.
9. Diagnose faults accurately using the latest testing equipment
10. Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard
11. Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
12. Keep detailed records of workmanship and parts used
13. Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair work
Requirements for this HGV Technician role:
14. Relevant Level 3 HGV Licence and IRTEC qualification are desirable
15. Proven experience working as an HGV Technician
16. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
17. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
18. Excellent attention to detail and workmanship standards
19. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including alternate early and late shifts and Saturday mornings.
