HSE Manager (Health Safety Environmental)

GBP 40,000 to 45,000 DOE + 10% Performance Related Bonus + 21 Days Holiday (Increasing to 25 Days with Service) + Bank Holidays + Contributory Pension (Matched up to 6%) + EAP + Occupational Sick Pay + Service Awards
37.75 Hours per Week : Monday to Friday 8:15am to 5pm, Friday 8:15am to 1pm
HSE required for an industry leading manufacturer with a 65 year history who are currently experiencing significant year on year sales growth. This is a great opportunity to play an integral role within a business witnessing over 20% growth each year and have ambitious development and investment plans.
Essential qualifications: NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma (or equivalent), relevant Health and Safety experience, knowledge of UK HSE legislation.
Responsibilities
* Oversee Health, Safety and Environmental
* Maintain HSE inline with legislation
* Perform risk assessments and audits
* Conduct investigations and implement corrective actions
* Deliver training when required
* Monitor and report HSE matters to senior management
* Manage environmental initiatives including waste management and sustainability programmes
Requirements
* Experience in a similar role
* Any background: manufacturing, engineering, construction, etc.
